Doll 36 cm MAYALU

It is after being overwhelmed by the dazzling beauty of the Kayapo children of Amazonia that Salut Poupée ! had the idea to create this brown doll, with matt skin and black eyes... With, constantly in mind, the faces of these magnificent children... We hope that this doll pays homage to them. It was made in a very beautiful Oëko-Tex bis jersey, it is stuffed with pure organic carded wool. Her face is modelled and sculpted to make her pretty round cheeks. We needed smooth and shiny hair for this "garotinha" and so we opted for long natural fibres, patiently hand-stitched with small stitches. Like many children of the Kayapo tribe, MAYALU wears a fringe, of course! The eyes of this beautiful doll are embroidered with black satin thread. She is wearing a pretty colourful dress with South American inspired patterns, a bloomer, socks and small leather shoes. This Waldorf doll also has a hand-knitted waistcoat, a headband and a leather shoulder bag in which her teddy bear is hidden.
MAYALU is a unique piece which is intended for children over 3 years old (it has small elements) and collectors.
